Accessibility

This site is built to WCAG 2.2 Level AA. If any of it is hard to use, call us and we'll take care of whatever you needed the site for.

What that means in practice

  • Text contrast meets or exceeds 4.5:1 for body copy and 3:1 for large text and interface elements
  • Every interactive target is at least 44×44 pixels — well past the 24-pixel minimum the standard asks for
  • Everything works by keyboard, with a visible focus indicator on every control
  • The sticky bar at the bottom of the screen on phones never hides the element you’ve navigated to, and it gets out of the way while you’re typing in a form
  • Every form field has a real label, and errors are announced to screen readers rather than only shown in color
  • All animation respects your system’s reduced-motion setting
  • Headings run in logical order and there’s a skip-to-content link at the top of every page
  • Images carry descriptive alternative text
  • Tables are real tables with proper headers, so screen readers can navigate them

No accessibility overlay

This site deliberately does not use an accessibility overlay widget — the kind that adds a floating accessibility button to a page. Those tools frequently make things worse for people actually using screen readers, and a large share of accessibility lawsuits are filed against sites running them. Accessibility here is built into the markup instead.

Where it might fall short

There will be gaps we haven’t found. Third-party content, if any is ever embedded, may not meet the same standard. If you hit something that doesn’t work, we want to know — that’s a bug, not a complaint.

Tell us, and we’ll fix it

Call or text (949) 701-0206, or email info@ecowastedumpsters.com. Tell us what page and what happened, and we’ll fix it and follow up with you.

And in the meantime — you never have to use this site to get service. Calling works for everything the site does.
