Rules at the gate
- Use the Scale House at Gate 5 (Nichols Ln, between Gothard St and Beach Blvd off Warner Ave).
- Public and commercial vehicles unload in separate areas.
- At least two random public load checks a day.
- Ask for the load to be ticketed 'Processed C&D w/Diversion', not MSW, and state the city of origin.
Heads up
- Tires: rate sheet lists $71.64 each, but the Aug 31 2026 county inspection says the site does not accept used tires. Call.
- How the 1-ton minimum works with the single-item prices isn't explained — confirm at the scale.
- Payment methods, accounts and tarp rules not published. County HHW (residents only) shares the address at Gate 6.
Tip: Separate loads pay off here: clean concrete, dirt, rock or green waste at $132.70/ton vs mixed C&D at $148.37. Scale opens 6am weekdays.
