What it takes

Not accepted: Treated or painted wood, chip board, particle board, shingles, mixed C&D debris, trash

Rates

FY 2026–27, effective Jul 1 2026. Flat rates are per load and apply when no tare weight is on file. Checked October 15, 2026.

C&D diversion credit: City-certified source-separated site for clean wood and green waste. Proof of City origin for City rate.

Rules at the gate

• Greenery rates only for loads 90% one material; otherwise billed as general refuse.
• Pull non-green items, bag them and remove them yourself (bins provided).
• All loads must be covered — $50 per uncovered load.
• Clean wood: unpainted lumber, plywood, pallets, trunks, rounds — no particle board, treated/painted wood, shingles.
• Branches up to 30 ft long or 40 in diameter (2022 rules); 5-axle rigs may be refused.

Heads up

• Free green waste for City residents appears only in the 2022 rules, not the FY 2026–27 schedule — unconfirmed.

Tip: Separate clean wood ($36/ton) from greens ($72/ton) and keep each load 90% pure, or it bills at $102–$108/ton refuse.
